Anybody in San Diego, CA???
Hi, I was wondering if there was anyone here who lives in the San
Diego area. I need some more support, friends, and possibly, an
exercise buddy.
I’m 23, in San Diego. I’ve been doing great! I’m now down to 219
lbs. I just need to find other ways to deal with my depression and
boredom. I’ve had quite a few slips and cheated in the past. I
regret that so much too, because all it does, is make me sick, and
even more depressed.
I find it really difficult to find things to do, and change my
lifestyle. It’s hard for me to find work, or get into school. I
just have a lot of issues in life to deal with. I don’t know what to
do. I do see a psychologist, and is looking for a psychiatrist. I
just need a lot of help mentally, as well as physically.

Hey, Tiff. Does your doc have a support group? I know some do. - Boy, I’d
love to have an exercise buddy, but somehow I think that Florida is a bit
too far to come <G>.

YIPPEEE for me. I have finally been approved. I have been hassling my person
for the past week because its been a month since my pre op apts. Well today she
was not at her desk so I asked kindly to the girl at the front desk if she could
find out if I was at least on the schedule by now. She gets back on the phone
and says you do have a surgery date…i asked can you tell me what it is….and
she does. November 7!!! Its not a soon as I would like but its soon enough. I
am going on a trip to New York the first week of October so I figure if I gain a
few lbs there, I have a few more weeks to get back into gear before the surgery.
It has only take me 8 months from the start of apts to my surgery date. Not bad
i do say. The only I advice I can give is be persistent…not rude..but
aggressive and it will help. Believe me. Good luck to all those waiting and to
those who have started this journey. And thank you to everyone for your support
and advice. It has helped me
