My journey begins!
Hi everyone,
Well I just got back from a dr’s appointment. The
news was a 50/50 deal. I’m still waiting for the
results of my latest heart test*keeping fingers
crossed*. She did however inform me that I’ve become
a type 2 diabetic. Just what I need, something else
added to the growing list of health problems.
On a happier note, she did say that once the tests are
all back, she will begin the referral to a surgeon in
my area that does WLS *smiles*
I know in my heart that this is the only way for me to
loose the pounds I need to and these are *very*
substantial. I’ve hit my highest weight ever, I know
that I’m using food as a crutch to deal with all the
things going on in my life. But I’ve spiraled out of
control *sighs*
So everyone, please keep your fingers crossed for me,
that my heart test shows no problems that will require
more surgery and that my referral goes thru. I know
waiting lists are long here in Canada.
