		<description>I went through the WISH Center in Illinois, but I think they are all run by the
same people and follow all the same procedures, philosophy, etc.

I had my surgery in March of this year and am EXTREMELY pleased with the results
and specifically very pleased that I chose to go through the WISH Center. While
their pre-op program seems long at the time (3 months of practice diet,
exercise, journaling, tests on heart, lungs, etc.) they do this to make sure
your body can handle the surgery and also so that nobody enters into this
lightly - this surgery is a big deal and should be treated that way. This
requires an entire lifestyle change (for the better if you ask me). They were
there for me before, during and after (even to this day) whenever I have
questions, problems, etc. The other thing I liked about the WISH Center was
that they specialize in the RNY surgery only. The Illinois office performs
about 60 per month and that is ALL they do as opposed to going to a doctor who
might only perform this surgery once or twice a year.
&lt;!--more--&gt;

Anyway, that's my two cents - I'd be happy to answer any other questions you
have.

Good luck!
