hi.. For a diabetic the thing to watch is the carbs... 15 grams of
Carbohydrates equals one carb. Should probably see a dietician to get the
number of carbs per day or meal...
Sugar isn't really the culprit but the carbs in diabetes... Have him check with
his doc for a diet.. joy

Talk with who ever he had he training with it's not the sugar grams they
count its' carbohydrates due to the fact that they turn into sugar. Agh ...
breads, potatoes etc any carbohydrates are the boon of the diabetic......
NOT only sugar......

On diabetic meds prior to surgery none now!!!!!!!

Since I know some of you had diabetes as a comorbid i thought i would ask.
My husband was just recently diagnosed with bordline diabetes. He is taking
two
meds by mouth. One twice a day and one once a day! I am trying to find out
(since i didnt go to the dr with him) how much sugar grams he is allowed a
day
or what it is he should actually be watching on his diet!
Thanks for taking the time!
