Nesting?

I have heard that hormones are stored in our fat cells and that as we
lose weight the fat and hormones are purged from the cells, and the
flood of hormones can cause us to become emotional PostOp since we
usually lose weight so quickly. I have gotten overly sentimental,
weeping at Hallmark commercials, etc. I want to know if anyone has
experienced ‘nesting’ similar to what women frequently experience while
pregnant. I can’t stop Spring Cleaning! I have cleaned every room in
the house, all closets, toy boxes cupboards and dressers, I even
attacked the garage and my husband’s tool box yesterday. I swept the
garaged, washed the floor and vacuumed under the hot water heater! I’m
not complaining (and my husband certainly isn’t), but this is so unusual
for me I just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced it.

I look forward to hearing from anyone with similar occurrences.

I didn’t nest, but I certainly was emotional <G>. Also was after my plastics
    - and there I wonder if the anesthesia leaving the system was a part of it. I
remember crying in the airport, a week after my second batch of surgeries.

YES!!!! I think it is just because we have the energy to do it. We are
eating better and I am sleeping better so I have more get up and go every day.
