<description>I have been post surgery for about 5 months and it is easy to do
with kids around too. My daughter is a bit overweight but she now
comes with me when I go swimming. She eats normally, but we make
sure there are fruits, vegetables along with meat. She can eat alot
more than I can now, but she is enjoying the exercise that is
necessary and a part of my daily life now and I am enjoying her
company but also seeing her slim down as well is a nice plus. If
the habit of daily or almost daily exercise is part of her
upbringing now she may never have to go through what I have. Kids
are not nice to fat kids.

<description>Andrea, when you get through your initial phases after your weight loss
surgery, you will be eating (should be eating) protein first, veges second,
and if you ahve any space left, a starch. That's an excellent eating program,
and you can ask your daughter to join you, except she can have larger
portions. After all, she's an active child, I would assume, and will need more
calories.
That's my thoughts on the matter &#60;G&#62;.
