making it bigger?
Just wondering if anyone else has had a scope down into the stomach
with a balloon and the hole that enters into the instestine expand it
somewhat. I had two episodes where I had thrown up after eating,
didn’t eat too fast and didn’t eat too much, the food just didn’t
agree with me. But ever since I really hadn’t had too many
problems. Today I went and had that done, but he also told me that
it tends to make the poutch bigger, is this a bad thing?, does people
quit losing weight, or is it like it’s still just as small?

Hi, Amanda. This is not an uncomon procedure - stretching the
stoma. Some people have it done only once, some more than once,
some of us never have a problem with it at all. Usually, from what
I’ve heard, it doesn’t affect the pouch, only the stoma, so I’m not
sure what he’s talking about.
