Hi, Judith. Welcome to the list. What kinds of questions do you have? I
had an RNY (lap) in Nov of 2002, with Plastics in Dec of 2003.

Welcome Judith, I had mine done on 6 Dec 2004 and am still recuperating
from bad aftercare. I am on the mend and have lost 55 lbs so far. Can’t wait
until I can walk and do a few things.

Becky, I just put my page up with the photos, etc.
A word of warning, it’s pretty graphic <G>. I fixed it so the photos
couldn’t be downloaded and it couldn’t be listed by the webspiders, and am
keeping my fingers crossed. <G>

Thanks, Becky… <G>
It’s like childbirth - after 14 months you don’t really remember the
discomfort.

Wow Pam! What an amazing transformation. I agree that the breast size was a bit
too large, and I’m a breast man. Thanks for sharing. This too is my biggest
concern, what to do with all the skin 24 months post op. You are very pretty and
I think what you have had done makes you look fifteen years younger.

Thanks, Brian. I will say that the breasts have gone down - they’re not
nearly as big as they were immediate post op <G>. But I jokingly say that
the younger the plastic surgeon, the bigger the breasts <G>.
I think some form of plastics is probably in all our futures - particularly
if we’re older and our skin is stretched out.

Hey Pam: I’m 43 and 6′2" and 385lbs. I’m now ready to submit my package to the
insurance company. It’s been a three year journey to get to this point. I hope
to nail it on the first submittal. My surgeon is ready (Lap RNY) as soon as we
get the green light. I hope to be on the table by month’s end. Will keep you
posted. Good luck in your continued progress.
Brian
