My 2 week Liver Shrink Diet Pre surgery Date
I am going through a 2 week low sodium diet before my surgery on the 25th…
I have lost 8 lbs this last week… I bought me a grill in the small
appliance’s at Wal-mart to use cu’s I don’t want to use the gas oven lol….
I gave right at fifty dollars for it. WORKS WONDERFUL
3 meals a day …if ya need a in between snack, eat a fruit or sugar free
pop sickle…CANT HAVE NOTHING OUT OF A BOX CAN OR PACKAGE
MEATS LEAN
1 egg or 2 egg whites…No egg substitutes ….I grill burgers, steaks,
and chicken…It must be all lean meats and not packaged… All meats will
have sodium.. but get the meat from a saluter house, or look in the meat
section for the clear packaged with red witting, or Ask the butcher… then
bake broil or grill … Do not add anything… EXCEPT.. Any of the Misses
Dash SEASONINGS … those you can use for seasoning… You can Squeeze real
Lemon or buy the lemon in a bottle..that is wonderful over the meat ..
Onions for seasoning the meat is good also…I cook up my meat for about 3
days and its ready for the Microwave…I’m allowed 2 oz. per meal .. you
need a scale… you will be surprised…
NEXT… MILK
1 cup Skim milk or you can have Yogurt plain fat free
Next..Starch
I get 2 per meal… IF BREAD… I toast it, and spray I cant believe its not
butter spray (cant have the tub) …I bought sugar free jelly its good,.. If
I have bread for breakfast, I don’t eat it the rest of the day… If I skip
bread at Breakfast then I have 1 side of a bun and a burger w/ tomato and a
lettuce… If Baked potato should be small Cant eat the skin..
NEXT.. NON STARCHY VEGTABLES
These have to be FRESH RAW VEGGIES…Nothing CANED
You are allowed 1 cup of raw veggies… or 1/2 cup if Cooked…green foods
are better for ya but ya need the other stuff as well..
SALADS…. 1 CUP OF ALL INGREDIANTS MIXED. I use the leaf lettuce …
Next ..Fruit
It must be Raw fruit…NOTHING CANED
watermelons you can have 1&1/4 cup cubed..
1/2 cup Of any other raw fruits
NEXT…FAT
1 tsp. margarine fruit spread
1 tsp. extra virgin Olive oil
I cant believe its not butter spray
This is all the fats allowed you…
I use the E.V.O. oil and mix 1 tsp white vinegar and add Misses Dash have to
shake it each time you use it…. FOR MY SALAD DRESSING….
DRINKS…for sweetness..splenda
DECAFE TEA
Decafe Coffee
Country Time PINK Lemon Aid
DRINK LOTS OF WATER WATER WATER
