Just wondering if anyone else has had a scope down into the stomach
with a balloon and the hole that enters into the instestine expand it
somewhat. I had two episodes where I had thrown up after eating,
didn’t eat too fast and didn’t eat too much, the food just didn’t
agree with me. But ever since I really hadn’t had too many
problems. Today I went and had that done, but he also told me that
it tends to make the poutch bigger, is this a bad thing?, does people
quit losing weight, or is it like it’s still just as small?

We usually meet the second Monday of the month and this month it
would be Feb 14. I think it would be wise to change that date, since
those of us that have loved ones would have unnecessary grief for
attending a wls meeting.
This being the case, I am changing the date of the next meeting to
the following week on Feb 21, 2005. I would like to know who would
be attending. If I know in advance that we will be having a large
group like the last meeting, I will make arrangement to rent a
private room. We meet at 7:15pm.

Hello, everyone. I’m new to the group, my real name is Amanda, and
on Dec 30, 04..I had gastric bypass surgery. It’s been one month
and a day and I’ve lost 32 pounds. I don’t think I’ve felt so much
more alive. Just 32 pounds has made My life a little easier. I
feel so good so far. I haven’t had any complications so far (knock
on wood), and I plan not to. I’ll keep everyone posted for future
weight loss and how much I can do again, like walk for an hour
without feeling like I’m gonna die with back pain. See ya soon,

It’s official, I’m addicted to beef jerky. Do you know of a good recipe for
‘steakhouse’ jerky? I like it mildly peppery with onion and garlic.
Thought I’d ask before I got creative in the kitchen (I’m not much of a

has anyone considered surgery in Mexico? I am wondering about
anyone’s experience there, and if it is safe, and if there are any
clincs and doctors to be recommended. I am in the Tijuana-San Diego
area.
I am getting ready for bipass surgery and would like to know any
tricks to keep from getting sick. Other than not eating the wrong
stuff. Do some things digest better than others and how does
everyone like it now that they have had the surgery. Any regrets?
and plus’s besides losing weight.
