<description>Plateaus are the biggest PITA for all of us, because it's so easy to get
discouraged! Hang in there. Sometimes people will do something a little
different to break up a plateau - say drop back to a day of one of the early
stages of the diet - or a day of just protein shakes - or a change in the
exercise routine. Just some little shift.

I'm assuming that you have basically been on the program and haven't
overindulged - if you have now's the time to rein that in. I had my first
real long plateau at 9 months and went on to lose another 40 lbs, so I know
it's possible.

Good luck!

Greetings

This is Catherine from Rochester, NY. I had bypass on 9/22/04. I
weighed 345 and now I am 235. However, the last 5-7 weeks I have been
at a plateau. I need some advice here. I am on BC pills as my cycles
were out of sync to put it mildly. Does that affect weight loss?

I am walking 3 times a week as well as going to Curves M W and F.

Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Catherine
