I will share with you my experience. I keloid badly - which is always a
surprise to my docs. My arms and navel keloided, and so did the scars from
my face-lift. The ones from my breast lift with implants didn’t, which was
a big surprise - nor did my bikini line TT scar keloid badly. I’m pretty
sure that if I had had an anchor incision, it would have keloided pretty
    badly, as my navel did.

Once the incisions have healed (gotta let them heal first), then I got kelo
    cote

It was at the recommendation of my dermatologist, and I’d waited a full
year, and the keloids were pretty bad. I wish I’d started with the kelo-cote
just as quickly as the incisions healed. I started using it, you just
just a very little bit, and it flattened all my scars except the ones behind
my ears, which we are now treating with kenalog injections.

I’ve heard that other plastic surgeons have recommended ScarCare and
ScarGuard - which I bought, but which I found to be like putting a think
coat of nail polish on my scars. Used up too much, and the dried liquid
    tended to peel right off.

I really like kelo-cote. Now that the scars are flat, I use Scargo on them
to help make them white. I’m 18 months out from my surgery.

Two months ago, I had an accident on my Segway, and I landed on my face.
The doctor in the ER glued a 2" cut together that went from above my eyebrow
through the eyebrow, down to the bottom of the bone around the eye. It took
about 10 days for the glue to come off. From that point on, I put the
kelo=cote on it. There’s hardly even a line. I did end up with one small
half inch keloid in one place where the skin was literally torn from my
glasses, on the side of my nose, up near the tear duct. It has not gotten
any worse, and is getting flatter.
